Summary

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Mainframe IMS Engineer / System Programmer with strong expertise in IBM IMS Database (IMS DB) and IMS Transaction Manager (IMS TM) administration, installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning. The candidate will manage IMS environments, perform SYSGEN, SMP/E maintenance, database reorganization, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery testing. Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, DBRC, DBD, PSB, ACB, IMS Connect, and integration with DB2, CICS, MQ, and RACF is required. Experience in production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and change management in high-availability banking or insurance environments is highly desirable.
