Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Solution Architect / Principal Consultant with deep expertise in product lifecycle management, engineering transformation, and discrete manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Non-Standard Requirements (NSR), Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), SAP PLM, Variant Configuration, and integration between enterprise PLM platforms and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP PLM solution architecture, transformation roadmaps, and design governance.
Design and optimize NSR, ETO, CTO, Make-to-Order, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
Manage SAP Variant Configuration, Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), characteristics, classes, and object dependencies.
Define governance for engineering BOMs (EBOM), manufacturing BOMs (MBOM), configurable BOMs, and service BOMs.
Lead Engineering Change Management (ECM), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
Architect integrations between SAP and PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, and Aras Innovator.
Design integrations using REST APIs, OData, RFC/BAPI, IDocs, middleware, and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Assess SAP ECC environments and define transformation strategies for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring clean-core alignment and scalable architecture.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and IT stakeholders.
Required Skills:
20+ years of overall SAP experience with significant solution architecture leadership.
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PLM, SAP DMS, classification, BOM management, ECM, and Variant Configuration.
Proven experience with NSR processes and ETO/CTO manufacturing environments.
Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Strong PLM-SAP integration architecture and data governance experience.
Familiarity with SAP ECTR, SAP MDG, SAP BTP, and SAP Integration Suite.
Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and executive communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
