Job Description
We are seeking a Solutions Architect Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting a Deloitte engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Fusion ERP and Source-to-Pay (S2P) architecture and a proven ability to define end-state architecture, lead integration design, and ensure alignment with enterprise and security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and design for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) ecosystem.
- Define integration patterns and oversee design of integrations between the S2P platform and Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture artifacts, including diagrams, models, and standards.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Technology stakeholders to validate requirements and shape design decisions.
- Provide architectural governance for functional and technical design decisions across the S2P landscape.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, cloud security, and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate third-party tools, integration platforms, and middleware approaches.
- Guide engineering teams during build, testing, and deployment phases.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to support a multi-year ERP transformation roadmap.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Multiple years of solutions architecture experience supporting large-scale ERP or SaaS transformation initiatives.
- Advanced expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance and/or Procurement), including hands-on integration design with external systems.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) applications and domain processes.
- Deep experience integrating SaaS applications using REST, event-driven patterns, and middleware platforms.
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP with a SaaS S2P solution.
- Understanding of master data domains, transactional data flows, and workflow/process design across Finance and S2P.
- Ability to produce clear architectural diagrams, models, and documentation for business and technical audiences.
- Familiarity with cloud security standards, integration governance, and compliance for SaaS ecosystems.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- 6-9 years of experience with Oracle Fusion or equivalent ERP integration leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PeopleSoft Finance migration to Oracle ERP SaaS.
- Experience integrating S2P with a tax engine.
- Familiarity with Draw.io and LeanIX for architecture documentation.
- Background in evaluating integration platforms and middleware.
