Job Description

We are seeking a Solutions Architect Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting Deloitte. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, Oracle Integration Cloud, and cloud-based data integration and a proven ability to design and govern scalable, secure solution architectures that align with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and support development of HCM and data integration solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural standards.


• Define interaction requirements for components, subsystems, and interfaces to produce solution-specific blueprints.


• Convert predetermined solution elements into blueprint designs that meet project requirements and enterprise security needs.


• Lead and support architectural activities that guide development and management of a portfolio of solutions.


• Partner with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate needs into modern Oracle HCM and data integration architectures.


• Contribute to a hybrid Oracle Integration Cloud and Azure-based data integration platform architecture.


• Plan and advise on advanced Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud configurations and integrations.


• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and cloud best practices.


• Produce architecture documentation and participate in technical review boards.


• Guide development teams in adopting new integration patterns and platforms.


• Support high-severity production issues with expert troubleshooting as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including areas such as configurations, role-based security, HDL, OTBI/BIP, HCM Extract, Payroll Flows, or Fast Formulas.


• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP/ADW, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.


• Proficiency with PL/SQL, REST APIs, ETL concepts, event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and version control.


• Experience level: 6-9 years in Oracle HCM Cloud solution architecture or closely related roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure cloud services; certifications are a plus.


• Databricks, Kafka, Informatica IDMC, or similar data platforms.


• Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and test automation.


• GitHub and LeanIX.

Role Logistics & Notes

• Hybrid schedule requiring two in-office days per week at a local Deloitte office.


• Travel costs are not reimbursable. No expenses permitted.


• No subvendors. Work must be performed within the United States.
