Job Title - Data Cleanup and Conversion Lead – Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Deployment

The Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Cleanup and Conversion Lead to manage and execute data preparation, cleanup, and migration activities as part of a multi-phase Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP deployment. This role will oversee the end-to-end data conversion process, including multiple rounds of mock data loads, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and readiness for the new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data management, migration tools, and Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, as well as excellent collaboration and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Cleanup and Preparation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data cleanup strategy to ensure data quality and consistency across all systems.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and inaccuracies.
- Define data standards and governance policies to support the ERP deployment.
- Data Conversion Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP.
- Manage multiple rounds of mock data loads to validate data readiness and ensure successful migration to the ERP system.
- Identify and address data conversion issues during mock loads and final migration.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with functional leads, business analysts, and technical teams to define data requirements and mapping rules.
- Partner with external vendors and Oracle consultants to align on data conversion strategies and tools.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Data Validation and Reconciliation:
- Develop and execute data validation processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules.
- Perform data reconciliation between source systems and Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Document and report data validation results to project stakeholders.
- Data Migration Tools and Technologies:
- Utilize Oracle Cloud tools such as FBDI (File-Based Data Import), HDL (HCM Data Loader), ADFDI (Application Development Framework Desktop Integration), API Framework, and other ETL tools for data migration.
- Optimize data migration processes to minimize downtime and ensure system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP data migration best practices and tools.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of data cleanup and conversion processes, including mapping rules, validation scripts, and issue logs.
- Provide regular updates to project leadership on data readiness, migration progress, and risks.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Train business users and technical teams on data standards, governance, and migration processes.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure long-term data management success post-deployment.
- Oracle EBS Knowledge
- Knowledge of EBS Modules in scope.
- Knowledge of relevant ERP Cloud Tracks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Cleanup and Conversion Lead or similar role in ERP deployments, preferably Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP.
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools and methodologies, including Oracle FBDI (File-Based Data Import), HDL (HCM Data Loader), ADFDI (Application Development Framework Desktop Integration), API Framework
- Strong background in data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and database management.
- - Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP data structures and integration frameworks.
