Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring a Lead BSA with a focus in AWS Connect for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States

6 month contract with potential to extend or convert.

Role Overview

This position leads the collaboration between business and technology stakeholders. The primary function is to translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional technical requirements. These requirements will guide the design and development teams in constructing technical solutions that meet business needs, with a focus on projects involving AWS Connect and automating sales outreach calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and validate business and technology requirements to define project scope, impact, and success criteria.
  • Analyze requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and adherence to standards.
  • Translate conceptual user needs into clear, functional requirements for the development team.
  • Develop and maintain system and business process models, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Deconstruct and document requirements, uploading them to Confluence.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate changes and modifications of business requirements to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work with internal teams to design and build effective, scalable systems.
  • Document business requirements and potential solutions for system functionality.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Requires 5 to 7 years of related experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

Technical Skills:
  • Experience with AWS Connect.
  • Proficiency in breaking down and documenting requirements in Confluence.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer business functions and operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with data processing.


Soft Skills:
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management.
  • Capability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
