Thinking Minds' client is looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Solution Specialist to lead and deliver SAP S/4HANA Cloud Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. This role is critical to ensuring strong data governance, data quality, and end-to-end process efficiency across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise with SAP Activate methodology, cross-module SAP integration, and a strategic mindset to support high-quality SAP implementations.

Role Overview
The SAP Master Data Lead will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Master Data solutions within an S/4HANA Cloud environment. This role partners closely with functional teams, technical teams, and business leaders to ensure master data solutions support scalable business processes and enterprise-wide consistency.
The position plays a leadership role across all phases of SAP delivery-from discovery and blueprinting through post-go-live support-while ensuring compliance with governance standards and adoption of SAP and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations with a focus on Master Data Management
Apply SAP Activate methodology across all project phases (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and specifications
Configure and support master data objects including:
Material Master
Customer Master
Vendor Master
Business Partner
Financial Master Data
Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, FI, and EWM
Partner with business stakeholders to conduct workshops, training, and change management
Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide post-go-live stabilization and enhancements
Enforce data governance standards, policies, and controls
Stay current on SAP S/4HANA innovations and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Data Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management
At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Strong working knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
Deep understanding of data quality, governance, and master data lifecycle
Experience with SAP Fiori and embedded analytics is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
SAP Master Data or SAP S/4HANA certification preferred
