Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) ERP Consultant to assess, optimize, and maximize the functionality of their existing Dynamics GP environment. Although the organization has Great Plains implemented, many of its core ERP capabilities are underutilized, resulting in inefficient manual processes, particularly within Accounts Receivable and invoicing.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics GP, strong business process improvement experience, and the ability to configure and implement ERP best practices to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the current Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) environment and identify areas for optimization.
• Configure and implement Dynamics GP modules and functionality to align with business needs.
• Streamline Accounts Receivable and invoicing processes by reducing manual workflows and increasing automation.
• Recommend and implement ERP best practices to improve financial operations and reporting.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand current processes and translate requirements into system improvements.
• Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and post-implementation optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation, configuration, and optimization.
• Experience with financial modules, particularly Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and general accounting.
• Proven ability to analyze business processes and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment with occasional travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading Dynamics GP optimization or modernization initiatives.
• Background in finance, accounting, or ERP consulting.
• Experience training end users and documenting business processes.
