Overview
In this contingent role, you will provide technical leadership on high-impact, large-scale software engineering initiatives. You will assess complex, multi-dimensional engineering challenges, evaluate diverse and sometimes unprecedented factors, and deliver recommendations that drive strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and deep knowledge of engineering best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and consult on complex software engineering programs with broad organizational impact.
  • Analyze multi-faceted technical problems and develop informed, data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of long-term engineering challenges-including systems, processes, and architectural considerations.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional client teams to ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and compliance standards.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the resolution of technically challenging or unprecedented situations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through consulting, training, military service, or education.

Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in Java / J2EE technologies
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with APIGEE
  • Strong skills in data analytics
