We are seeking a Motion & Graphic Designer to join the Marketing & Communications. Reporting to the VP of Operations and Production, this role works closely with the brand team to devise and deliver impactful visual content. Possessing extensive expertise in both graphic and motion build, you'll bring creative concepts to life across multiple platforms and mediums.
Our Marketing and Communications team drives the conception and execution of campaigns, brand initiatives, and content that connect our company to audiences worldwide. This role involves translating strategic direction and creative briefs into polished visual executions, with tasks ranging from crafting sophisticated motion graphics for digital campaigns and social media to designing comprehensive print systems and exploring innovative AI capabilities.
This is a hands-on role for a confident, collaborative, and exceptionally coordinated professional with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity. You will deliver technical excellence, adapting your expertise fluidly between traditional design foundations and cutting-edge digital storytelling to meet the diverse needs of our brand. The ideal candidate is practical, adaptable, innovative, and self-motivated with a sharp attention to detail.

What you'll do: - Build dynamic motion graphics, animations, and video content that bring brand stories alive through social platforms, websites, and internal communications.
- Transform strategic briefs into crafted visual solutions that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve comprehensive design systems, including motion components and brand asset libraries, to ensure brand consistency and global scalability.
- Skillfully iterate on designs based on collaborative feedback, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay current on design trends, animation techniques, and platform specifications to continuously elevate our visual output.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and brand consistency
- A track record of successfully leading major cross-functional design initiatives by collaborating effectively with stakeholders, interpreting creative direction, and applying feedback efficiently
- Natural problem-solving abilities with skill to take feedback and iterate quickly on creative concepts
- Expertise in translating complex technical concepts like data science visualizations into intuitive and impactful designs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate timelines clearly to collaborators
- Passion for visual creativity and supporting innovative brand initiatives
- Conceptualize and complete engaging data visualizations that distill complex financial and scientific concepts for a variety of audiences, from expert to layperson.
You should possess the following qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer with motion graphics and animation capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Express, and Premiere Pro, plus Figma and G-Suite tools
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation software with the ability to integrate dimensional elements into campaigns
- Portfolio showcasing technical excellence in both static design and motion graphics across digital and print mediums (please include a link)
- Video editing skills are a plus

The base pay for this role will be between $125,000 and $175,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
