Role: Sr. Genesys Integration Architect/Lead Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Must-Have:
o Genesys Cloud CX Architecture & APIs
o Enterprise Integration Architecture (CRM, Middleware, Event‑Driven APIs)
o Integration Validation & Test Strategy (SIT, UAT, Non‑Functional Testing)
Job Description:
Core Platform & Architecture Expertise:
· Deep hands‑on experience with Genesys Cloud CX architecture
· Strong understanding of end‑to‑end contact center architecture, including:
- IVR / Architect flows
- Omnichannel routing (voice, chat, email, messaging)
- Agent desktop and CTI orchestration
· Ability to define reference architectures for Genesys‑centric ecosystems (Genesys + CRM + middleware + downstream systems)
Integration Architecture & Design (Primary Focus):
· Architecture ownership for enterprise integrations between Genesys and:
- CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Case management, policy, billing, or customer master systems
· Design of event‑driven and API‑based integrations, including:
- Real‑time vs asynchronous patterns
- Webhooks, callbacks, and notification services
- Data consistency and reconciliation strategies
· Expertise in Genesys Cloud APIs:
- Conversation, Routing, Contact, Analytics, Architect APIs
· Ability to define integration contracts, schemas, error handling, and retry strategies
Integration Validation & Quality Strategy:
· Ownership of integration test strategy (not just execution), including:
- End‑to‑end SIT and UAT approaches
- Cross‑system dependency mapping
- Non‑functional testing (latency, scalability, failover)
· Experience defining testability into architecture designs
· Ability to guide teams on:
- API test automation approaches
- Contract testing
- Mocking and simulation of dependent systems
· Strong defect triage and root‑cause leadership across vendor and internal teams
Middleware, Cloud & Security:
· Strong experience with middleware / integration platforms:
- MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or custom API layers
· Solid understanding of cloud‑native patterns on AWS and/or Azure
· Expertise in security and identity for integrations:
- OAuth 2.0, token management
- PII handling and regulatory considerations
· Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability for integrations (APM, logs, alerts)
