Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / Informatica) – Long-Term Contract
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
A Texas-based organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, ETL development, and enterprise data warehousing. This role will support large-scale data integration and analytics initiatives, helping design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and reporting solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS
· Develop complex Snowflake SQL scripts, data transformations, and data integration solutions
· Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, and other structured and unstructured data sources
· Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders on data integration strategies and solution design
· Develop automated testing and validation processes to ensure data quality and integrity
· Participate in Agile ceremonies and support all phases of the SDLC
· Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and process flows
· Analyze new business requirements and recommend enhancements to existing data solutions
· Support ongoing operations, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise data platforms
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years of experience developing ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS
· 8+ years of experience integrating data from multiple sources and technologies
· 8+ years of experience developing complex and high-performing Snowflake SQL solutions
· Strong experience supporting data warehouse, analytics, business intelligence, or performance management environments
· Experience with technical documentation, data modeling, and process diagramming tools
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
· Proven ability to develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions using software development best practices
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in Agile development environments
· Experience with Python development and automation
· Experience with JIRA
· Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services
· Experience with Java, JavaScript, MuleSoft, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
· Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire
· Experience working with healthcare, regulated, PII, or PHI data environments
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
