Role Overview:
This role is responsible for providing the overall technical vision and design for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and fully integrated with the enterprise architecture.
The Solutions Architect will act as a key advisor to leadership, ensuring that platform development aligns with HMH’s strategic goals, ServiceNow best practices, and long-term roadmap. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in platform architecture, CMDB, and integration patterns, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust, maintainable technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design
Define the end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow initiatives, ensuring solutions integrate cleanly with existing modules (ITSM, CMDB, CDM, SPM) and enterprise systems.
Establish technical design patterns, guardrails, and solution standards to ensure platform scalability, upgradeability, and performance.
Make critical design decisions regarding data models, security configurations, and platform governance. Integration & Platform Governance Design and oversee integration patterns with external systems such as EHRs, medical device networks, and enterprise tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, Integration Hub).
Enforce platform development and deployment protocols, ensuring compliance with security architecture and ITIL/ITSM best practices.
Collaborate with the AI Governance Lead to support architecture for emerging AI capabilities and guardrails within the platform.
Experience:
5+ years in ServiceNow architecture, design, and development, with experience leading large-scale, enterprise-level implementations.
Technical Skills: Expertise in platform architecture (CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, ITSM), integration technologies, and Agile methodologies.
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and ITIL v4 Foundation
