Job Description:

Position: Senior Business Process Analyst

Length of Contract: 1 Year - extension up to 2

Location: McLean, VA

Rate: $45-52/hr

Interview Process: 2 Rounds

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will work within a Digital Solutions team and serve as a key partner in advancing enterprise digital initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on analyst with experience in digital product management who can assess current systems and processes, identify opportunities for digitization and automation, and help shape a digital transformation roadmap.

You will collaborate across teams to analyze workflows, recommend tools, and support project scoping for process redesign and system improvements. Preference will be given to candidates with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and related technology experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Tool & Platform Support
  • Help evaluate and implement new digital tools or platforms in alignment with new or optimized processes.
  • Pilots & Proofs of Concept (POCs) to Adoption
  • Support the design, execution, and evaluation of pilots and POCs to validate digital solutions against defined business objectives and enable successful adoption.
  • Process Discovery, Improvement & Automation
  • Lead discovery efforts by conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and mapping current-state business processes across multiple functions. Translate process analysis into actionable recommendations and drive operational efficiency and business growth.
  • Documentation & Requirements
  • Document business requirements and process flows in clear, stakeholder-friendly formats, balancing clarity and value with documentation needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with category management, account management, IT, and other teams to ensure alignment and execution of process improvements and digital projects.
  • Initiative Prioritization
  • Help prioritize digital initiatives in partnership with stakeholders by driving business impact assessments and developing business cases.
  • Roadmap Development
  • Support planning, development, and execution of a digital transformation roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally with exposure to digital transformation, IT modernization, or systems implementation
  • Comfortable managing vendor relationships and software evaluations
  • Proven ability to assess, document, and improve workflows in cross-functional environments
  • Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders across business functions
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Procure-to-Pay platforms, Power Automate, Salesforce, ERPs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and related technology solutions
  • Exposure to low-code or no-code automation projects
  • Experience with business process modeling tools
  • Experience working with transformation or consulting teams
  • Understanding of change management or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Procurement or Supply Management experience
