Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize processes, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless functionality across Oracle Financial modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities combined with a hands-on approach to system configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to both internal and external stakeholders by addressing application issues and troubleshooting challenges.
Lead requirements-gathering sessions to document and analyze business needs, creating functional specifications for cross-functional projects.
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies, conflicting practices, and integration challenges, proposing innovative solutions.
Manage projects through their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and addressing any delays in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Optimize Oracle E-Business Suite modules, including Payables (AP), Purchasing (PO), and Projects (PA), ensuring streamlined processes for employee costing, expense approvals, and project labor costing.
Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation to support system enhancements and integrations.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration of Oracle modules with third-party systems.
Analyze and troubleshoot Oracle configurations, interfaces, and data conversions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Create and maintain BI Publisher reports to support business intelligence initiatives.
Provide expertise on Oracle Workflow and PL/SQL for system analysis and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business analysis, application design, and IT system implementation.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Financial modules such as GL, FA, AP, PO, and PA.
Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, including configurations, interfaces, and data conversions.
Experience with Oracle versions R12.1 and R12.2, including integrations with third-party systems.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, and BI Publisher for analysis and reporting.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Visio, Project, and OneNote.
Excellent communication skills to clearly present ideas and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
