Role Overview
We are seeking a VTC Technician for a long-term contract position. This role involves the design, implementation, integration, testing, and operation of control and distribution systems for all AV/VTC systems supporting the customer. The position requires the ability to work shifts as needed to support customer missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, integrate, and test AV/VTC control and distribution systems.
- Engineer conference rooms, Webcasting, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and Streaming Video systems.
- Assist Project Management and customers with cutting over AV/VTC systems.
- Collaborate with system programmers on AV/VTC integration and testing to ensure performance metrics are met.
- Provide project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and technical acceptance reports.
- Review the work of others to detect errors or necessary modifications.
- Identify and resolve problems or inadequacies in systems operations.
Required Qualifications
Education: A BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
Experience: More than four years of experience in video and audio communications support is necessary.
Security Clearance: A current TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Technical Skills:- Demonstrated experience with VTC Codecs, Audio Mixers, Control Systems, AV automation, Wiring, Amplifiers, Microphones, Projection systems, Video Cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment.
- Effective business communication and verbal skills to interface with stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to understand complex AV/VTC systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Telepresence experience is preferred.
