Position: Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst

Duration: 6 months with extension Possible

Location: Remote, United States only. All access to State systems and data must be from within the Contiguous United States.

Role Summary

The Salesforce QA Analyst will be responsible for validating the quality, functionality, performance, security, and reliability of the Salesforce CRM implementation before production releases. The role will create test plans, execute manual and automated tests, document defects, support UAT, and verify that the solution meets approved requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, positive, negative, edge, and boundary testing.
• Test Salesforce configurations, customizations, Apex, Lightning Web Components, workflows, flows, APIs, and integrations.
• Validate portal functionality, application intake, document upload, payments, notifications, dashboards, data migration, inspections, complaints, and case management workflows.
• Conduct API testing for SOAP/REST integrations.
• Support automated testing and CI/CD testing processes.
• Track defects from discovery through resolution.
• Work with developers, business analysts, and State stakeholders to clarify bugs and expected behavior.
• Support ITS QA testing and OCM User Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare testing status reports, defect reports, and test execution summaries.
• Ensure production deployments meet agreed acceptance criteria.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience testing Salesforce implementations, configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing APIs, including SOAP and REST.
• Experience documenting and tracking defects.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, test planning, regression testing, and UAT support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium, Provar, Kira, or similar automated testing tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Salesforce testing experience in government, licensing, compliance, or regulated environments.
• Experience with CI/CD test automation.
• Experience with data migration validation.
