Efforts will be focused on Chemical and Engineering News
This person will be hands on with:
Campaign Execution/Launches
Email Strategy and Automation- they use Eloqua and Adobe Analytics
Will provide brand updates and messaging
Social Media
Events- will start in July (small chance of some travel)
Huge plus if have News and Publication Industry experience
Audience Development experience helpful
Job Title:
The client is seeking a creative, strategic, and collaborative marketing professional to support the growth and engagement efforts of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN), Client''''s award‐winning print magazine and dynamic suite of digital products.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Product Marketing Manager as well as independently to support integrated marketing campaigns, assist with brand updates and messaging alignment, and support conference and event marketing activities. This role provides hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy, analytics, brand management, and creative execution within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns and product launches across C&EN products, programs, and services.
- Support brand updates and messaging alignment across digital channels, campaigns, and conference materials.
- Create, refine, and test copy for email, social media, and digital advertising to support campaign strategies, drive engagement, and reinforce brand positioning.
- Analyze key performance metrics and prepare actionable insights and reports.
- Maintain and organize marketing dashboards, campaign documentation, and reporting systems.
- Contribute ideas and research to support audience growth and engagement strategies.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform marketing initiatives.
- Support conference and event marketing efforts, including promotion, lead engagement, and post-event follow-up.
- Assist with C&EN booth support and event activations, with potential for limited on-site event support as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
- 4-7 years in product, brand, or digital marketing
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong writing/organizational/project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Experience with marketing analytics tools or CRM systems preferred.
- Willingness to support occasional on-site conference activities as needed.
- Event/trade show marketing experience is desired.
