This opportunity entails being responsible for troubleshooting and resolving advanced system issues that are assigned to the team. This position is also responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, maintenance and documentation of system solutions and services from various vendors and manufacturers. Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation. Serves as escalation point for Level I and II system administrators.

What You'll Do:
  • Provides tier 2 support troubleshooting and problem-solving system issues and outages to meet daily operational needs. May act as escalation point if needed.
  • Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Configures and manages operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Installs, configures, monitors and ongoing usability of computers, business equipment, and software.
  • Updates documentation and workflow processes. Reviews current processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Monitors service level agreements, performs audits, and reports findings to management.
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Diagnoses hardware and software problems and replace defective components.
  • Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure.
  • Defines and develops procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses, and establishes work plans to resolve system issues.
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • In lieu of education, 8 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:
  • Possesses broad range of advanced knowledge between multiple systems used by the team. Utilizes knowledge to mentor and consult on basic and intermediate systems tickets with junior Systems Administrators.
  • Begins to advance knowledge and skills surrounding design work of applicable systems within overall project work.

What We Prefer:
  • Hands-on experience administering cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS or Google Cloud Platform acceptable).
  • Experience operating and supporting cloud-based AI/ML platforms and services.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling, frameworks, and cloud-native AI services.
  • Understanding of AI governance and Responsible AI concepts; ability to apply standard checklists and guardrails.
  • Experience supporting environments that handle confidential, client, or regulated data.
  • Strong security-first mindset, including identity, access controls, and environment segmentation.
  • Experience supporting production systems with monitoring, incident response, and change management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with data, AI, security, and client-facing teams.
