Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westborough, MA that is seeking one to two temporary IT Project Coordinators for a 6-9 month engagement to support our Store Systems and IT leadership team during several high-priority initiatives. This role will provide execution and coordination support across multiple projects, including store system upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, and POS-related enhancements.

Overview:
The Project Coordinator will support planning, tracking, and communication for technology initiatives that impact field and store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings and schedules, updating project plans, and assisting with vendor and site coordination. This role works closely with Project Managers and serves as a communication bridge to internal IT teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timelines, milestones, and reporting remain current.

Projects often involve coordination with multiple vendors, evolving schedules, and time-sensitive deployment activity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. While prior retail or store systems experience is helpful, it is not required. Strong coordination skills, tool proficiency, and a willingness to learn are most important.

This role primarily operates in a Waterfall project environment and supports initiatives that blend technology, operations, and financial awareness. There is limited budget ownership, but the coordinator will have exposure to overall project financials and status reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in a Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, or similar support role
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Proven ability to coordinate meetings, schedules, deliverables, and documentation
* Proficiency with Smartsheet (required) for tracking schedules, milestones, and rollout activity
* Strong skills using Microsoft tools including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerPoint
* Comfortable working with vendors and internal stakeholders while maintaining professionalism
* Ability to operate in a Waterfall project environment
* Clear, timely communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
* Proactive, dependable, and execution-focused
* Comfortable taking initiative after onboarding
* Positive attitude and professionalism during vendor or schedule challenges
* Strong planner and prioritizing with follow-through

Nice to Have:
* Exposure to retail, brick-and-mortar, or field-based technology projects
* Experience supporting POS upgrades, infrastructure projects, or large-scale deployments
* Familiarity with coordinating site work, installers, or hardware logistics
* Basic understanding of IT budgets or project financial tracking
* Experience working across multiple vendors or external partners

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
