Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to oversee and drive the company's technology strategy in Howell, New Jersey. This role requires strategic vision and hands-on leadership to optimize existing systems, enhance operational efficiency, and implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a multi-functional team and ensure the company's IT infrastructure, data integrity, automation strategies, and systems development align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the company-wide technology strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee IT infrastructure and security, including devices, access controls, and protocols to maintain platform stability.
Manage automation and AI initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and deploying solutions to enhance business operations.
Ensure data integrity and governance across the organization, supervising developers and administrators to maintain pipeline accuracy.
Drive system integrations across sales, finance, and operations platforms to improve cross-functional collaboration.
Evaluate, rationalize, and implement technology tools to support evolving business needs.
Lead and develop a multi-functional technology team, fostering growth and technical expertise.
Act as the strategic liaison between business leadership and technical teams, bridging communication for effective execution.
Monitor and optimize IT systems, balancing maintenance with selective innovation to support scalability.
Implement and maintain Active Directory and backup technologies to ensure data protection and system reliability.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in technology leadership roles within eCommerce, retail, or distribution environments.
Proven expertise in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, security, and automation strategies.
Strong background in Sage Intacct or similar ERP platforms, with experience in application integration.
Hands-on experience with middleware and multi-platform environments, including system integrations.
Working knowledge of AI and automation applications to drive measurable business impact.
Familiarity with Active Directory and backup technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams, fostering collaboration and growth.
Skilled at simplifying complex systems and evolving architecture to meet scale demands.
