Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Collect, document, maintain, and manage business, functional, and system requirements.
  • Create and maintain process workflows, business documentation, and requirements repositories.
  • Assist in the development of standards and procedures used in the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Consult with vendors and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and support change management plans for system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and solutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in establishing standards and procedures utilized throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Research and analyze system issues, user concerns, and business process challenges utilizing analytical and problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinate and support testing activities for new system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Assist with customer support inquiries related to system functionality and maintenance.
  • Administer or support business-user training efforts as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations and bi-weekly project status reports for leadership review.
  • Capture, distribute, and maintain meeting minutes, action items, and project documentation.
  • Provide professional, proactive, and timely communication with internal and external customers.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing business priorities.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise IT projects, system implementations, or technology initiatives.
  • Strong experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing business and functional requirements.
  • Experience creating business process documentation and workflow diagrams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, project status reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience utilizing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and similar platforms.
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be team-oriented, adaptable, and highly professional.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Experience creating process workflows utilizing Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project and Asana.
  • Experience supporting public sector, K-12 education, government, or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, digital transformation, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with change management, training, and user adoption activities.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and preparing materials for senior management review.
