Job Overview
Our client is seeking two Junior/Mid-Level Business Systems Analysts to support ongoing business and systems analysis initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role focuses on analyzing business requirements, documenting system functionality, validating business rules, and performing QA testing to support application and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, QA testing, Agile methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and document the current state of systems and business processes
- Execute positive and negative test scenarios within QA environments
- Extract and validate business rules from undocumented systems
- Collaborate with Senior Analysts, Product Management, and Project Teams
- Maintain and enhance system documentation following internal standards
- Work with multiple stakeholders to gather and assemble functional requirements
- Verify outcomes through database validations and output interface testing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Business Systems Analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.)
- Hands-on QA testing experience through web applications or command-line inputs
- Strong SQL skills including:
- Unions
- Inner Joins
- Outer Joins
- Strong Excel skills including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- IF/ELSE logic
- String/substring manipulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous learning
