Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Observability Engineer with strong expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Dynatrace to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise observability solutions to improve application performance, reliability, and operational visibility across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise observability and monitoring solutions using Dynatrace.
  • Configure and maintain APM dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring strategies.
  • Monitor application health, infrastructure performance, logs, traces, and user experience metrics.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and production incidents across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to enhance monitoring coverage and reliability.
  • Develop proactive monitoring and alerting strategies to reduce downtime and improve MTTR.
  • Implement observability best practices for cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.
  • Create custom dashboards, workflows, and automation scripts for monitoring optimization.
  • Provide recommendations for capacity planning, performance tuning, and system optimization.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace administration and implementation.
  • Solid experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools and concepts.
  • Experience monitoring applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Good understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, and distributed tracing.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
