Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale multi-cloud platforms across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This role will focus on cloud architecture, AI/GenAI platform enablement, enterprise data platforms, monitoring and observability, security and compliance, and production operations.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, enterprise AI platforms, cloud-native data services, monitoring frameworks, and cloud governance. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring platform scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and implement scalable multi-cloud solutions across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.

• Support enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.

• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend architectural improvements.

• Ensure platform resiliency, scalability, and high availability.

AI & GenAI Platform Enablement

• Architect and support enterprise AI and Generative AI platforms.

• Enable AI services utilizing technologies such as Gemini, Vertex AI, and cloud-native AI solutions.

• Support AI workloads, model integration, prompt management, and governance frameworks.

• Establish controls for responsible AI implementation and operational monitoring.

• Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams on AI-driven initiatives.

Cloud Monitoring & Observability

• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

• Manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Monitoring, and centralized logging platforms.

• Build dashboards, alerts, and operational monitoring frameworks.

• Implement proactive monitoring strategies to ensure platform reliability.

• Support incident management and root-cause analysis efforts.

Log Management & Alerting

• Configure and manage Logstash-based log ingestion and transformation processes.

• Integrate enterprise logs with monitoring and analytics platforms.

• Design alerting frameworks utilizing SMS, voice, and notification services.

• Implement automated operational notifications for platform and ETL failures.

• Ensure effective monitoring and operational visibility across environments.

Data Platform & Analytics Support

• Support cloud-based data lakes, blob storage, and enterprise analytics platforms.

• Architect storage solutions optimized for analytics, AI, and reporting workloads.

• Support ETL/ELT processes, data integration frameworks, and enterprise data platforms.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data reliability and performance.

• Enable scalable data services supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Integration & Enterprise Platforms

• Support Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Troubleshoot integration, connectivity, and platform performance issues.

• Design scalable cloud integration architectures.

• Support API-driven services and enterprise interoperability initiatives.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement enterprise IAM and least-privilege access models.

• Design cloud security architectures aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Establish audit logging, monitoring, and governance controls.

• Support compliance initiatives within regulated environments.

• Ensure secure cloud operations across all environments.

Platform Operations & Support

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for enterprise cloud platforms.

• Troubleshoot platform stability, access, integration, and performance issues.

• Lead root-cause investigations and remediation efforts.

• Ensure operational readiness and production support processes are maintained.

• Participate in on-call and critical incident response activities as needed.

Automation & DevOps

• Support infrastructure automation and cloud operations through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop automation using Python, Bash, serverless technologies, and cloud-native services.

• Support containerized and microservices-based deployments.

• Improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with cloud engineers, data engineers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive successful project delivery.

• Take ownership of platform health, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience designing and supporting multi-cloud environments utilizing Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise AI and Generative AI platforms including Gemini and Vertex AI.

• 8+ years of experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Monitoring, and observability frameworks.

• 8+ years of experience using Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, and monitoring integration.

• 8+ years of experience designing alerting and operational notification solutions.

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise data lakes, cloud storage, and analytics platforms.

• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise data pipelines and analytics workloads.

• 8+ years of experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and integration architectures.

• 8+ years of experience implementing IAM, cloud security, audit logging, and compliance controls.

• 8+ years of experience supporting production environments and resolving Tier 2/3 platform issues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Tableau Cloud administration and architecture.

• Experience integrating geospatial technologies such as ArcGIS with cloud data platforms.

• Experience with Python, Bash, and cloud automation frameworks.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Kubernetes platforms including GKE and AKS.

• Experience with Docker and microservices architectures.

• Experience with Data Mesh architectures, ETL/ELT frameworks, and enterprise API integrations.

• Experience operating in healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments.
