Summary

Role: Application Support Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL / Peoria, IL (Hybrid 2 days onsite, may go 5 days)

Experience: 5 7 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Triage & resolve support tickets within SLA timelines
Investigate and troubleshoot critical application issues (including off-hours support)
Perform root cause analysis, testing, and failure analysis
Monitor application availability & performance
Develop scripts/automation tools to detect & fix issues
Build monitoring & alerting capabilities (proactive issue detection)
Coordinate with internal teams & occasionally dealer communication

Required Skills (Must Have):

2+ years of Application Support (Cloud-based apps)
Hands-on experience with:

AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
JavaScript / Angular / Spring Boot

Experience with:

Azure App Services & APIs
SQL Server DB

Strong knowledge of High Availability architecture
Monitoring tools: ThousandEyes / App Insights / Grafana
Scripting: Python / PowerShell / SQL / JSON
