About the Role
An organization is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. This role will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, data-driven customer engagement solutions. The ideal candidate will define solution strategy, oversee integrations, and establish data models and governance while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design
Define end-to-end architecture for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems aligned with enterprise standards
Lead solution design workshops and translate business requirements into technical architecture
Establish data models, identity resolution strategies, and Customer 360 frameworks
Marketing Cloud Expertise
Architect solutions across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, and Personalization tools
Develop segmentation, personalization, and omnichannel engagement strategies
Implement triggered communications and real-time personalization use cases
Data Cloud (CDP) Expertise
Design and implement batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines
Enable data harmonization, identity resolution, and unified customer profiles
Build calculated insights, segmentation models, and activation strategies
Ensure data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance
Integration & Technical Leadership
Architect integrations across Salesforce platforms and external systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouses, APIs)
Define API strategies (REST/SOAP) and middleware architecture (MuleSoft preferred)
Provide technical guidance and establish development best practices
Conduct architecture reviews to ensure scalability and performance
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with business, marketing, and IT stakeholders
Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams
Support solution estimation and proposal development when needed
Required Qualifications
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in Salesforce Architecture
Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
Deep understanding of customer data models, identity resolution, segmentation, and campaign lifecycle
Experience with API integrations and middleware platforms
Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions
Preferred Certifications
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Application or System Architect
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (nice to have)
