  • Manage power system issues during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and on-site installation.
  • Resolve issues raised by cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assess data center designs based on redundancy levels, availability targets, and single points of failure (SPOFs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver electrical solutions for third-party data center projects.
  • Conduct technical due diligence, QA/QC, and ensure successful product delivery aligned with internal standards.
  • Reinforce standards across regions to ensure consistency.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (control systems, mechanical) and understand interrelated issues.
  • Update and maintain internal design specifications, drawings, and standards based on lessons learned and real-time feedback.
  • Proficient in U.S. codes and standards, with knowledge of IEC standards.
  • Review detailed shop drawings and sequences of operation.
  • Work with internal teams on allowable power loading within multi-tenant facilities for rack deployment and load balancing.

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. and P.E. preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with mission-critical facilities, with a focus on market-available multi-tenant data center facilities.
  • Expertise in power system analysis and engineering software packages.
  • Experience in bidding, designing, operating, and commissioning electrical distribution systems from high-voltage transformers to branch circuits.
  • General knowledge of cross-discipline teams: structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural.
  • Experience with colocation facilities is required.
  • Domestic and international travel as needed (up to 30%).
