Automotive Systems Engineer - Embedded Software & Electrical

Advantage Technical is hiring a Systems Engineer to support cutting-edge vehicle feature development at a leading global automotive OEM. If you want to shape next-generation digital vehicle experiences - from architecture to production - this role puts you at the center of it.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle feature development using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Python, C++, and Gherkin-based requirements tools
- Develop network, wiring, and power distribution schematics/block diagrams
- Author functional/implementation specs, DFMEA documentation, functional safety assessments, and cybersecurity mitigation plans
- Partner with cross-functional teams - hardware, software, mechanical, HMI - to deliver balanced, production-ready solutions
- Identify cost and quality improvement opportunities across existing system designs
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 3+ years in systems engineering, preferably automotive
- 3+ years in software engineering
- Solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems, CAN communication, and electrical module design
- Master's degree and 5+ years of automotive experience preferred
