This role is ideal for candidates with systems engineering, software development, and vehicle electrical systems experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of vehicle features from concept through production
- Create system architectures, wiring diagrams, and network designs
- Develop technical specifications, test plans, and verification documentation
- Support functional safety, cybersecurity, and quality initiatives
- Collaborate with software, electrical, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Analyze system performance and recommend design improvements
- Develop and support software and hardware integration solutions
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Work with suppliers and engineering teams on new technology implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field required
- 3+ years of systems engineering and software development experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, networking, CAN communication, and software integration
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, Python, C++, or similar tools
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, system testing, and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Automotive engineering experience preferred
- Master's degree preferred
