Senior User Experience Designer

Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (potential to extend)

They are seeking an experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to play a key role in a major digital transformation initiative. This position offers the opportunity to influence the future of customer-facing web and mobile platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about human-centered design, excels at solving complex usability challenges, and enjoys transforming customer insights into intuitive digital experiences.

Here s what you ll be doing:

  • Lead the design and execution of customer-focused UX strategies that improve digital experiences across web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to uncover insights that inform product direction and design decisions.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, task flows, prototypes, and interactive experiences that address customer needs and business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions.
  • Evaluate existing user experiences, identify improvement opportunities, and present design recommendations backed by research and best practices.

Here s what our ideal candidate has:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and experience creating, scaling, and maintaining comprehensive design systems.
  • Strong expertise in user-centered design methodologies, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe development environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within financial services, banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro and FigJam.
  • Experience using user research and project management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end technologies.
  • Exposure to JavaScript and React-based development environments.

  • User experience design examples
  • Web application projects outlining individual contributions and design methodology
  • Research-driven design processes and outcomes
