Job Description: Finance Consultant Funds Management & Project Systems (S/4HANA)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with specialized expertise in Funds Management (FM) and Project Systems (PS) within the S/4HANA environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing complex financial solutions to optimize budget control and project accounting for large-scale enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Funds Management and Project Systems modules.
Budget Management: Define and implement Budget Control System (BCS) settings, derivation rules, and availability control (AVC) to ensure strict adherence to financial governance.
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end Project Systems lifecycle, including WBS element structures, network activities, cost planning, and settlement rules.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration between FM/PS and other SAP modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
Business Transformation: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Testing & Support: Lead Unit Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Provide post-go-live hypercare and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of SAP functional experience, with at least 2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
Core Expertise: * SAP FM: Deep knowledge of Budget Control Systems (BCS), Fund/Functional Area/Commitment Item hierarchies, and Year-End closing operations.
SAP PS: Mastery of WBS structures, Project Builder, Cost/Revenue planning, and Result Analysis (RA).
S/4HANA Knowledge: Proficiency in the S/4HANA Finance data model (Universal Journal), Fiori applications, and updated FM/PS capabilities.
Communication: Exceptional consultative skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
