Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Data Analyst III to support the I/S Planning & Analysis team focused on operational reporting, workforce planning, and data-driven decision support.
This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, building reports and dashboards, supporting operational planning processes, and communicating insights to both technical and executive audiences.
What You’ll Do
• Create, maintain, and analyze operational and financial reports to support business decision-making
• Develop new reports and enhance existing reporting solutions based on evolving business needs
• Validate reporting accuracy and ensure the integrity of operational and analytical data
• Support work planning and resource allocation processes using internal systems and reporting tools
• Build and maintain reporting solutions using SQL Server, Excel, Power BI, Access, and related tools
• Assist customers with ad hoc reporting requests and recurring analytical needs
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights and executive-level summaries
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting automation
• Train and support employees and managers on reporting tools, databases, and analytical processes
• Design, code, and maintain database programs used for data extraction and reporting activities
• Collaborate closely with team members and business stakeholders to support departmental goals
What You’ll Need
• 4+ years of reporting, research, or data analysis experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI and SQL/relational databases
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and consultative communication skills
• Understanding of relational database structures and reporting methodologies
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or related field OR equivalent experience
