Summary

Overview
The Help Desk Technician provides first-level technical support to end users, delivering timely issue resolution while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and access issues both remotely and in person.
  • Administer and support Active Directory, including user account creation, password resets, group memberships, and basic permissions.
  • Support Microsoft 365 (O365) environments, assisting users with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and account troubleshooting.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using approved tools to efficiently resolve issues for off-site and distributed users.
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support, clearly communicating technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD) user and group management
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues remotely
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior help desk or technical support experience
  • Experience working in a ticketing system
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
