RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Fulton, MD is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in cloud and infrastructure migrations to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives. This role requires deep hands-on experience managing VCF migrations and cloud migrations across AWS and Azure, along with the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage large-scale VCF, AWS, and Azure cloud migration projects from initiation through delivery
* Drive project execution using Agile/Scrum methodologies, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional delivery teams
* Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery milestones to ensure projects remain on track
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication on timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
* Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable updates for non-technical audiences
* Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and resource needs across multiple workstreams
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8-10+ years of Project Management experience and Migrations and cloud migrations (AWS and/or Azure required; Both strongly preferred)
* Scrum/Agile (working with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, sprint planning)
* Hands-on experience managing VCF Migrations
Working knowledge of:
* AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
* Azure services (VMs, Storage, Azure AD, Networking, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience delivering projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
