Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with demonstrable hands-on experience in automation projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reviewing requirements, designing and developing automated test scripts, and creating key project deliverables. This role requires supporting parallel projects within a fast-paced environment and ensuring adherence to defined standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in automation projects in a developer or lead capacity.
- Review requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
- Design, develop, maintain, and analyze automated test scripts.
- Execute automation scripts, prepare execution reports, and create defect logs.
- Create project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports, and automation dashboards.
- Support parallel projects in various development methodologies like waterfall and agile.
- Perform system and data analysis based on business needs, including integration testing and data quality validation.
- Identify, document, and resolve data quality and data integrity issues.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, payment, or transaction services.
- At least 5 years of strong knowledge in technologies such as Core Java, VB Scripting, SQL, Basic Unix, and Cucumber.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing, proficient in all conversion types.
- At least 3 years of strong experience in parsing and generating data/files, bank standards, XML, and XPath.
Technical Skills:- Primary Skill: Selenium.
- Secondary Skill: Core Java.
- Tertiary Skill: Agile tools (Jira).
- Strong command of SQL with the ability to write complex queries, preferably in Oracle.
- Proficiency with mapping and requirements analysis.
- Experience with Eclipse or NetBeans Project Management, TestNG, Version Management (like Bitbucket), Web Services Testing, and Litmus.
- Knowledge of SpringBoot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automation development.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging/triaging skills.
- Experience with Shell Scripts and Regular Expressions (RegExps).
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55.00 to $60.42 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible employees.
