DescriptionOur client is seeking a
Systems Administrator to join their IT team. This role plays a critical part in supporting a
production hybrid-cloud environment within a small, collaborative IT team.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for
system administration, patching, security monitoring, and Tier 2-2.5 support, with significant hands-on work in
Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, and hybrid infrastructure). The role also involves
PowerShell scripting, infrastructure troubleshooting, and maintaining security controls aligned with
SOC 2 and NIST standards.
The ideal candidate brings
3+ years of systems administration experience, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is eager to grow technically while taking ownership in a fast-paced environment. This position is
hybrid, based in
Oshkosh, WI, and includes a
manageable on-call rotation.
Required Skills- Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, hybrid environments)
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Networking fundamentals
- Systems maintenance, patching, and monitoring
- Infrastructure and security best practices
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Linux system administration
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
- Experience with Meraki networking equipment
- Security tooling and monitoring aligned with SOC 2 / NIST
