Summary

We are looking for a self-driven DevOps Architect who doesn't just manage pipelines but owns the entire CI/CD ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining the strategy, selecting the tooling, and implementing security standards without day-to-day oversight.

Core Requirements

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Complete independence in authoring, testing, and deploying complex infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep. You should be able to build modular, reusable code that scales across multiple environments.
End-to-End Pipeline Architecture: Expert-level experience designing YAML-based multi-stage pipelines in Azure DevOps. This includes advanced logic, gating, environment approvals, and automated rollbacks.
Azure Governance & Security: Ability to independently implement Azure Policy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Secret Management (Azure Key Vault). You must be able to "shift left" by integrating security scanning (e.g., Checkov, Snyk, or SonarQube) directly into the dev lifecycle.
Containerization & Orchestration: Proven track record of managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps, including ingress controllers, networking, and monitoring.
Observability: Full ownership of monitoring strategies using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to create proactive alerting systems that identify issues before they impact production.
You can take a high-level business goal and translate it into a fully functional, secure, and automated Azure environment.
You act as the final authority on branching strategies (GitFlow/Trunk-based) and deployment patterns.
You proactively identify manual bottlenecks and automate them before being asked.
