Genesis10 is currently seeking a Reporting Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 3+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Reporting Developer with strong SQL expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is initially 5 days onsite with the ability to switch to 3 days onsite and 2 days remote once working independently.
Requirements: - Previous hands-on experience as a Software Developer; business analyst experience alone is not sufficient
- Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting reports using Power BI, Report Builder, and SSRS
- Advanced SQL expertise, including the ability to read, write, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in proprietary SQL-based development tools and processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired skills: - Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Previous experience within a financial institution is preferred
