Senior Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Senior Level Product Owner with core banking experience.

Duties:
* Facilitate backlog grooming and support sprint planning
* Can clearly translate business outcomes into epics, features, and user stories
* Works effectively with architects and developers without becoming a proxy engineer
* Knows how to ask the right questions to clarify ambiguity in requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated Product Ownership with one or more Scrum Team(s)
* Skilled in backlog ownership, story writing, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement
* Technical knowledge - A solid understanding of API requests and knowledge around technical aspects of API development
* Communication Skills - Effective communication across all levels of the organization; Must be able to articulate the product vision, manage stakeholder expectations, and able to collaborate amongst numerous Scrum and project teams
* Analytical Skills - strong analytical skills to assess data quickly, prioritize all levels of a backlog to make informed decisions. Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate competing priorities and complex challenges
* Decision Making - ability to evaluate options to make timely and effective decisions
* Agile Methodology Knowledge - Strong Scrum framework knowledge and ability to facilitate ceremonies
* Conflict Resolution - Ability to manage and resolve conflicts; Person must be able to navigate completing interests and facilitate discussions to reach consensus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
