This position is for a role on the Enterprise Job Scheduling (EJS) team, which administers support for the CA7 and CA11 toolset. The focus will be on developing a web application to automate the CA7 scheduling workflow. The role requires technical leadership, the ability to resolve complex problems, and communication across technical and managerial audiences. The candidate will also participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation after training.
Key Responsibilities
- Build interactive user interfaces using NodeJS/REACTJS for responsive and dynamic web applications.
- Develop server-side applications using Java.
- Integrate frontend and backend components, implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design, develop, and maintain databases using Oracle SQL, including writing queries and stored procedures.
- Utilize CI/CD tools and pipelines for deployment processes.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve tool-related issues.
- Work within an Agile framework, participating in code reviews and using version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
- Develop programs in Shell Script, REXX, JAVA, REACTjs, and SQL for automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Experience building interactive user interfaces with NodeJS and REACTJS.
- Proficiency in server-side application development with Java.
- Knowledge of integrating frontend and backend components to deliver web solutions.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain databases using Oracle SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Job Scheduling, product support, and administration with the CA7/CA11 toolset.
- Experience with Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, and ISPF.
- User experience with release/change tools such as Endevor, ISPW, or Remedy.
- Working knowledge of REXX and IBM Utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, IEBGENER).
