Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Cloud Azure Tools Specialist.

Responsibilities:
* Manages and optimizes data, analytics, and innovation toolsets in a cloud environment
* Leads requirements gathering, evaluation, and implementation of tools supporting business needs
* Drives adoption, utilization, and best practices across the organization
* Partners with stakeholders to align tools with business processes and outcomes
* Acts as a key resource to understand user needs and recommend improvements
* Identify and support tool adoption and usage needs across the organization
* Collaborate with InfoSec, Infrastructure, and Compliance to manage user access, roles, and security policies
* Standardize and improve tool user experience and design consistency
* Configure, maintain, and serve as SME for assigned toolset
* Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and enablement programs
* Act as liaison to vendors, leading business reviews and influencing product roadmaps
* Recommend enhancements and extensions to maximize tool value and ROI
* Lead RFI/RFP processes, tool evaluation, and implementation efforts
* Support procurement and vendor management, ensuring compliance with security and legal standards
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new tools aligned to business needs
* Monitor adoption, performance, and utilization metrics, providing insights and recommendations
* Partner with SMEs to guide tool selection and cost-effective usage strategies
* Design and execute test cases to validate tool implementations
* Document and manage tool lifecycle (requirements, implementation, support)
* Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams to define cloud storage and compute best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve advanced incidents and system issues
* Lead tool upgrades, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 6+ years of experience in tools administration and support for data-related platforms
* Strong understanding of: data engineering practices and workflows, data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and aligning tools to business processes

Technical Skills:
* Visualization & Reporting: WebFocus, Sigma, Power BI
* Data Transformation (ETL/ELT): Matillion, Azure Data Factory, DBT
* Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake
* Data Catalog & Metadata: Purview, Unity, Horizon, Alation
* AI/ML & Data Science Tools: Dataiku, PyTorch, Azure ML, Databricks AI/ML, Snowflake Cortex AI, TensorFlow, Hex
* Cloud & API Integration: Azure API Management, MuleSoft, Boomi

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
