Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Remote IT Director to lead our technology initiatives, oversee IT operations, and ensure the security and scalability of our information systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, and the ability to manage a remote team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the organization s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and hardware.
Lead and coordinate remote IT teams, ensuring efficient project delivery and operational excellence.
Ensure the security of information systems through policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
Monitor and optimize IT systems for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve business processes.
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Provide IT support and guidance to other departments as needed.
Prepare and manage IT budgets and report on IT performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Director, IT Manager, or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network management.
Experience managing remote teams and collaborating across multiple locations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable initiatives.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, and Information Technology
