Role and Responsibilities

Work across the phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle and code deployment to ensure change points to these applications do not interrupt daily operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Serve as the on-site expert for a set of applications within the team when process improvement, maintenance, or advanced troubleshooting is needed. Take part in standardization deployments and existing application development with other sites in global manufacturing network. Provide Quality Assurance testing and after release monitoring of changes to existing systems. Communicate system change points and issue resolutions clearly to members in the department and internal customers in the company. Work with international and local team members to resolve issues and ensure proper integration with other related systems. Develop customer facing documentation, including troubleshooting and problem resolution steps. Take ownership of escalated technical issues and work with international and local team members for issue resolution. Assist in creating design specs to outline proposed changes to existing systems in order to fulfill customer requirements. Plan periodically for preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance and reliability. Contribute to the training material as needed for the owned applications/systems such as (1) Material Handling and Management System, which allows users to manage materials that are used in semiconductor manufacturing and processing; (2) Product Evaluation Management System, which allows users to perform tests with products and bring improvements to manufacturing process based on test results, and the (3) MES Biz Portal, which allows users access controls to different manufacturing execution systems. The role and specific tasks performed with regard to the applications and systems mentioned above are (1) developing, deploying and supporting the systems; (2) work with users to resolve systems issues that are impacting production; (3) perform troubleshooting of system performance issues; and (4) write technical code for system releases and determine impact before releasing to production.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 36 months of experience involving the following: 1. Monitoring and debugging test failures;
2. Design and analysis;
3. Design optimization;
4. Shell/ Bash/ PowerShell, Queues;
5. Java, SpringBoot and Microservices; and
6. Database development using SQL and PL/SQL (Triger and Functions).

The current base salary range for this role is between $139,152 to $159,152. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
