What You’ll Do
Architect complex embedded electronic systems and hardware configurations from initial ideation through successful high-volume manufacturing.
Steer a specialized team of 2–3 engineers, providing daily technical direction, assigning project priorities, and managing development timelines.
Execute comprehensive hardware designs, encompassing schematic generation, multi-layer PCB layouts, and rigorous system-level benchmarking.
Synthesize product frameworks by specifying critical components, including microcontrollers, sensor arrays, and power drivers, while guaranteeing strict regulatory adherence.
Forge cross-functional alliances with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure the seamless delivery of ruggedized, highly manufacturable products.
Formulate comprehensive hardware specifications, structural documentation, and exhaustive validation test plans.
Cultivate engineering excellence by refining development workflows, introducing best practices, and optimizing internal design standards.
Spearhead laboratory debugging initiatives, utilizing diagnostic equipment to validate, troubleshoot, and optimize prototype functionality.
What You Bring
Expertise in microcontroller-based hardware architecture, specifically with advanced processor families like ARM.
Proficiency in utilizing professional EDA software (such as Altium) for sophisticated schematic capture and precise PCB layout execution.
Mastery of electronic design principles targeted at mitigating EMC and EMI, ensuring robust compliance standards.
Command of standard serial and vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
Background in managing or mentoring junior-to-mid-level engineering personnel within a collaborative team structure.
Adeptness with physical laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, for hands-on diagnostic analysis.
Advantageous exposure to integrating wireless networking technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular, or long-range RF capabilities.
Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering paired with 8 to 20 years of progressive, relevant hardware design experience.
