Description
We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and customer service skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PC hardware and software configurations.
Provide effective troubleshooting support for Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and SharePoint.
Manage help desk email and IT ticket tracking systems to ensure timely resolution of user requests.
Collaborate with team members and hospital staff to address computing infrastructure challenges efficiently.
Utilize knowledge of network topology and protocols to support basic network operations.
Ensure accurate documentation of technical issues and solutions for future reference.
Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware, ensuring optimal performance.
Provide guidance and training to users on system functionalities as needed.
Requirements
At least one year of experience in a PC Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access and troubleshooting Citrix environments.
Solid knowledge of current operating systems and PC hardware configurations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling.
Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in technical environments.
Familiarity with basic network protocols and infrastructure.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
