Job Details

We are currently seeking a Probate & Estate Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that is dedicated to providing top-notch legal services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of probate and estate cases, providing expert advice on wills, trusts, and deeds. This role requires a high level of professional judgment and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of probate and estate administration including drafting and executing wills, trusts, and deeds.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on complex probate and estate matters.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
  • Liaise with clients and other legal professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient probate process.
  • Stay updated with the latest changes in probate and estate law and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's probate and estate practice.

Qualifications:
  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must possess a valid license to practice law in Texas.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in probate and estate law, with a proven track record of handling wills, trusts, and deeds.
  • Exceptional knowledge of probate and estate law, court procedures, and related legal protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • A high level of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
