UX/UI Product Design

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a UX/UI Product Design that lives in Salt Lake City, UT - as this will be a hybrid schedule. This is not a designer's first UX role. We're looking for someone who is comfortable owning designs end-to-end, collaborating closely with engineers, and contributing practical, user-centered solutions in a highly technical setting.

What You'll Do:
* Design and refine user-centered interfaces for the IQ product, focusing on usability, clarity, and consistency
* Work closely with engineering teams, embedding directly within engineering workflows to ensure designs are feasible and well-integrated
* Contribute across the full design lifecycle-from discovery and research through prototyping and final handoff
* Apply strong design judgment to complex systems and workflows rather than consumer-focused experiences
* Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
* Support and evolve design patterns and systems to ensure scalable, consistent experiences

REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree not required, but nice to have; Experience outweighs education
* 2-3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience
* Experience working in Figma, Maze, and Jira.
* Designer with Manufacturing, Industrial or defense background.
* Portfolio shared during the initial screening call.
* Background designing for manufacturing, industrial, defense, or enterprise applications
* Experience working directly with engineers and within technical product teams
* Strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and prototyping
* Experience with instructional or instructible design is a plus (not required)
* Focused on functional, workflow-driven design-not consumer-facing or marketing UI work
* Proven experience designing non-consumer, enterprise or industrial products
* Portfolio required and reviewed during the initial screening call

Hands-on experience with:
* Figma
* Maze
* Jira

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
