Onsite in Cincinnati, OH

Our client seeks a Senior Product Owner to lead the conversion and deployment of the Direct Express solution using modern domain and data product architecture. The role will define and prioritize requirements for downstream reporting, partner across business, risk, finance, and technology, and drive Agile product delivery. The position will guide cross-functional alignment, ensure regulatory and compliance outcomes, and support continuous product improvement.

Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Motivate teams to deliver on strategy and roadmap for continuous product improvement.
  • Partner with business functions, IT, Risk, Finance, Operations, and other key partners to define and execute product strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for agreement and guidance, including Lines of Business, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Fraud, and Architecture.
  • Provide transparency and ongoing communications with stakeholders.
  • Make decisions to drive key outcomes in support of regulatory and compliance needs, new revenue growth, process optimization, and analytics.
  • Participate in all phases of development including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Solve problems and make decisions with subject matter experts to drive the greatest outcome for the product.
  • Engage with research teams for customer usability testing and concept validation.
  • Partner with third parties to manage relationships, understand product releases, remediate defects and outages, and ensure seamless experiences.
  • Maintain and provide product information for training and documentation.
  • Monitor industry trends and participate in industry forums and conferences.
  • Support a SAFe mindset across product teams, maintain a healthy product backlog, and participate in team ceremonies.
  • Communicate product capabilities and roadmap to internal groups and external clients.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of product experience or 5+ years of technical experience.
  • Agile communication.
  • Agile product delivery.
  • IT problem solving.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Third-party software integration (preferred).
  • Bank conversions (preferred).
  • Change leadership (preferred).
  • Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as Digital.AI Agility, Jira, or Quality Center (preferred).
  • Financial industry experience (preferred).
  • Product management background with ability to interact and influence across teams (preferred).
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe development (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to present simple, well-structured solutions (preferred).
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and across teams in a fast-paced environment (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) (preferred).
