external (Ad Platforms, Web Analytics) sources to provide insight to marketing decision-makers.
Reviews campaign performance data and measures, drawing attention to key trends in customer
behavior and channel efficiency. Assists the marketing department in addressing business needs
by utilizing data to identify key opportunities that will drive traffic, conversions, and ROI in
pursuit of growth. Responsible for supporting the team with digital data analysis,
tracking/tagging audits, reporting, and overall communications regarding marketing

responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting
? Explores data from multiple digital sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta,
LinkedIn, CRM), working with campaign managers to determine and provide key
insights on channel performance and the customer journey.
? Delivers ad hoc and pre-defined reports to stakeholders regarding campaign KPIs (CPA,
ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate) and answers questions pertaining to marketing
attribution.
? Provides reports and data analysis for a wide variety of topics including A/B testing,
landing page performance, and audience segmentation based on the marketing leader's
business requirements.
? Defines or contributes to the digital measurement strategy, including tagging frameworks
and attribution modeling.
? Creates reports leveraging insights from data exploration, prepared with visualizations in
formats such as Excel, PowerPoint, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau,
PowerBI).
? Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets. Builds recommendations to
optimize media spend and improve marketing funnel effectiveness.
? Works to ensure global consistency in data taxonomy (UTM parameters, naming
conventions) and analytic methods.
Communication
? Engages across the organization (Sales, Product, Marketing) to clarify data requests and
provide debriefs to explain marketing insights and drive optimization actions.
? Supports communication requirements of the leader, including presenting ROI findings,
sharing action items regarding budget allocation, and regular performance reviews.
? Provides oversight and timely escalation of data anomalies (e.g., broken tracking, traffic
drops) to departmental leaders and stakeholders.
? Creates or updates process documentation to support standard duties (such as pixel
implementation or campaign tagging) and seeks approval from department heads where
needed.
? Works to make data available and increase the marketing team's capability to interpret
and use analytics tools effectively for self-service decision-making.
? May partner with fellow [Company Name] team members to develop, assess, facilitate,
or lead programs to support customer acquisition and retention objectives.
Data Audit and Cleansing
? Conducts regular audits of web analytics tags and tracking pixels to ensure data integrity.
? Identifies and filters out bot traffic or internal IP addresses to ensure accurate reporting.
? Cleanses marketing lists and CRM data to ensure proper segmentation and targeting.
